By plane :
The recent opening (2005) of the international airport of Querétaro
(QRO), 
(442) 220 69 35, located only 34 km (21 miles) from the capital
of the state allows the possibility of starting a tour from there
in place of BJX (León).
Aeromar proposes 4 flights a day - Querétaro/Mexico
City. Continental operates a direct flight to Houston with
correspondences in the USA. Aeromexico
operates from QRO to many destinations in Mexico
and there is also a direct flight to Los Angeles with Aeromexico.
In our opinion, unless you are coming from the USA, it is worth
taking the road from Mexico City for the beauty of the landscape
as well for your pocket.

City North Terminal and the international
airport of Mexico City –There are also many departures
to Aguascalientes, Dolorès
Hidalgo, Durango, Guadalajara,
Guanajuato, León,
Monterrey, Morelia,
San Luis Potosí,
Tijuana and Zacatecas. The
companies Flecha Amarilla and Estrella Blanca use second class
buses but it is not a problem since the distances are short
and the roads are good.
You also can take a direct bus to the International
airport of Mexico City ($256 A/S) with Primera Aero Plus.
Prix 2010 : $170 - in primera clase and $225 in De luxe, to
México-Norte.
Riding time: 3h. There are lockers on the premises.
Think about double checking the choice of the edifice A or B,
depending on your level of service (De luxe, first class or
economic class).
Take a minibus to go to the Bus Terminal from downtown.
