Oaxaca has two bus stations
1st class Bus Station : it is 1.5 km (1 mile) north-east of the
main plaza (Calzada Niños Héroes de Chapultepec #1036),

How to get around ?
By bus : to travel to the surroundings, take a
bus from the 2nd class Bus Station.
By taxi or colectivos: $160 per hour
in taxi. To visit the villages and different markets of the region,
the colectivo is an excellent choice. Departures from Mercado
de Abastos (small fees and good atmosphere guaranteed).
There are many guided tours (tours visitas guiadas) from
Oaxaca to the archaeological sites and the villages mentioned in
the chapter "Oaxaca valleys". A bus leaves Oaxaca at 10
AM to the market of Tlacolula on Sundays, to Villa de Etla on Wednesdays,
to Zaachila on Thursdays and to Ocotlán on Fridays. Get information
