Country of Indians... Fundamentally, for sure,
Mexico is a whole Indian country, but the sons
of the Aztecs have been adopted, for a while, what we would call
an occidental way of living. However, in Oaxaca states, the traditional
ways of living are still lively. The Mexican countryside has its
charm as well as the towns and villages. The mountains are impressive;
the fresh and green valleys are like huge gardens where corn, rice,
sugar cane, café and orange trees grow. If you drive on country
trails, it is not rare to meet Indians coming from remote forests
or itinerant vendors carrying merchandise on their back going to
the surrounding markets.
