There are many Tarahumara celebrations and traditions in this northwestern part of Mexico. This people, imbued with philosophy and shamanism, remain very discreet by tradition. The Tarahumara organize ritual manifestations between communities, including visionary rituals, wooden ball games (the rarahipa) or even 60 km (37 mi) team races in the mountain. Easter celebrations are beautiful because of the marvelous costumes.
