Bus
Campeche owns two main bus stations :
Central de Autobuses ADO (Primera Clase), av. Casa de Justicia por Av. Patricio Trueba de Regil

Central de Autobuses ADO (Segunda Clase), av. Gobernadores con calle 45, Col. Santa Ana (10 minutes walking from San Pedro bulwark), (981) 816-34-90 / 811-96-94 / 816-26-33 - www.grupoado.com
Bus companies : ADO GL, ADO Primera Clase, ATS, Autotur, Servicio Sur, Cristobal Colón.
6 departures to Mexico-Tapo (16h to 18h trip, $1000, 2010 fees), 3 to 5 to Palenque (5h trip), 2 to Veracruz (12h trip), 5 to 7 to Villahermosa (5h trip) and many departures to Mérida. To go to Xpuhil and Chetumal, there is a connection in Escarcega. Many buses service Chetumal-Escarcega, which allow to be drop off at the different Mayan ruins of the Rio Bec Route. The ADO Company has a bus station in Xpuhil.
You can buy tickets at the Ticket bus office located av. Central # 32, corner av. Gobernadores, in front of Land Gate. (Open daily 8 AM-9 PM and Sunday 10 AM-5 PM), (981) 816 55 83.

The car is the best way for visiting all the archaeological sites of the area because of the distances and the few buses.
