Means of transportation
Bus stations : Four of them are walking distance from downtown :
Terminal Pullman de Morelos del Centro, centro, at the crossing of Abasolo and Netzahual, 312 76 20. It is the easiest way to go to Mexico DF - Terminal Sur - $75 le trajet A/S (2010).
Terminal Pullman de Morelos, at the north of the city, at the crossing of Casino la Selva and Coyotl (to Mexico City-Terminal Sur or the airport). Information Pullman in Cuernavaca, (777) 312 94 73. There are buses every 15 min to Mexico City from 4:30 AM to 9:40 PM and 20 buses a day to the airport of Mexico. Taxis de Sitios : $40 to downtown.
Terminal Flecha Roja and Estrella Blanca, Ave Morelos between Arista and Victoria, at the north of downtown, 312 26 26 (for Toluca, Chalma, Acapulco, Taxco, the Caverns); In the terminal, there are lockers ($3 per luggage and per hour), internet and mini restaurants.


Terminal Estrella Roja, at the crossing of Galeana and Cuauhtemotzin, at the south of downtown, 318 59 34, buses to Puebla, every hour from 5 AM to 7 PM.
Terminal Estrella de Oro, Ave Morelos Sur # 900, blvd Cuanahuac, 312 30 55 at the south of downtown. There is no locker but the service “Paqueteria”, next door, accepts to keep the bags for $40 (with a numbered ticket). The destination is Taxco. Reservaciones outside Mexico City 01 800 9000 105.

The side of the Market Adolfo Lopez Mateos, there are buses to Tepo and Xochicalco (1h15 trip).

Take a pesero ($8) to go to the different bus terminals (these peseros are called Ruta 1, 20, etc…ask for their destination).

Tourist Bus to visit the city (tren turistico) : 4 possible tours from 11:15 AM to 6:30 PM/10 PM (low/high season), every 45 minutes on week days, every 20 min on week-end ; adult fare : $50 and children under 7 year old : $40, 317 04 21 or 138 60 45. Tourism Offices
State Secretary of Tourism, ave Morelos Sur # 187, at the north of terminal Estrella de Oro. The information is not always reliable but you can get brochures, 314 39 20 / 314 38 72 / 312 67 47, open from 8 AM to 5 PM on week days. Tourist information booth in front of the Museum of Cortés : very friendly, helpful and capable young staff. There are also brochures about the city.

Tourism office Hidalgo, on Hidalgo, by the Zócalo : you can get brochures.

Post-office : plaza de Armas. Open from 8 AM to 7 PM on week days and from 9 AM to 1 PM on Saturdays.

Laundries :
Lavanderia/Tintoreria Morelos, Matamoros, 28 from Monday to Saturday : 9 AM-6 PM
Lavanderia/Tintoreria close to the B&B, at the crossing of Obregon/E.Zapata and calle de las Artistas. In both store, you drop off your clothes on the morning and pick them up on the evening.
Andy Lavanderia, place Juárez, local 0, (open 9 AM-8 PM on week days and 9 AM-11 AM on Saturdays).

Banks and ATM : Like in every average size city, the banks, foreign exchange offices and ATM are located close to the Zócalo. In Cuernavaca, they are close to the Jardin Juárez. ATM Visa :

Xochicalco

Take a bus from Cuernavaca to Xochicalco (30 min). Departures every 30 min from 6 AM to 9:45 PM. You need to ask the driver to drop you off close to the ruins.
