By air
cuetzalines dancesThere is no line Mexico - Puebla but there are cross links. Puebla is also the air company AEROMAR headquarters. This company operates ATR42 (turbo-prop planes). The company Volaris offers shuttles from Toluca to Mexico D.F, Cancun to Playa del Carmen or Hotel Zone in Cancun, Puebla center to the airport, Tijuana to San Diego, etc... ... Consult this service on their website :
The direct flights with Volaris are : Puebla/Cancun, Puebla/Guadalajara.

Bus stations
4 km (3.5 miles) from the center of Puebla, there is a huge terminal called Capu (Central de Autobuses de Puebla), blvd Norte # 4222, (222) 249 72 11 :
There are many services such as restaurants, bars, lockers, internet, phone cards for sale, etc.. Each bus company has its own gates. You need to go to the company gate, and then look for the pier number. There are many departures to the center of Mexico – Terminal Oriente (Tapo), and departures every 20/30 min to Guadalajara, Acapulco, Oaxaca, Cuernavaca, Taxco, Jalapa, Poza Rica, Papantla, Veracruz. Departures every hour from 3 AM to 8 PM to the airport of Mexico City (fare : $184). Fare Puebla/Mexico : from $126 to $140 depending on the bus category (2010 fares).
To go to Cuetzalán, you have to leave from this terminal. The fare is $150.

los Voladores in Puebla The company Estrella Roja offers a departure to Teotihuacán and the ex-convento de San Agustin Acolman every Sunday at 7:15 AM, from CAPU and back at 8 PM (fare : $295).

The taxis de sitios are yellow with the "capu" logo on the door. The fare is $80 from the Terminal to the Zócalo.

The company Estrella Roja which also services the capital and the airport of Mexico City has its own Terminal less off-centered than Capu, at 4 Poniente # 2110.

Always ask about the departure terminal because Estrella Roja operates from both terminals.

You can buy your tickets at the Ticket Bus Office, downtown Puebla, close to the craft market del Parian, Juan de Palafox and Mendoza # 604 - Mon-Fri from 9 AM to 7 PM and on Saturdays, from 9 AM to 3 PM, (222) 225 90 00 or 01 800 702 80 00. There are also self service windows accessible from 8AM : with a credit card, you can buy tickets for any destination.

To go to Cholula, the buses leave at the corner of the streets 13 Norte and 6 Poniente, every 10 minutes from 6:15 AM to 11:30 PM.

Tourist Bus to visit the city: TURIBUS : it is the same service as in México City, Mérida and Veracruz : daily from 9 AM to 9 PM. Possibility to get up and down at any turibus stop sign. Turibus fare: MXN$100 per day and per person, MXN$130 for 2 consecutive days and $170 for 3 consecutive days - Half price for children - 4 to 12 years old. Blvd. 5 de Mayo corner 6 Oriente - Open Tue-Sun from 9 AM to 5 PM

Post-office : between the street 16 de Septiembre and the corner of 5 de Oriente, open Mon-Fri, 8 AM-5 PM and Sat 8 AM-1 PM.

Laundry : between 4 and 6 Poniente, open Mon-Sat, 9 AM-8 PM.
